Xsessive is all about low ping game server hosting. Concidering the owners are gamers aswell, we only use top of the line networks and complete server setups to gurantee smooth gaming.

How many game servers do you host on one machine?

Xsessive has taken a lot of time to research the number of game servers possible per machine without degradation to game server pings, therefore we cannot release the answer to anyone. What we can tell you is that our servers are guaranteed to be lag free. Please read our Service Level Agreement (SLA). We promise to credit your account in the event of any lag or outages on the Server Xtreme network or servers. No other competitor gives you this guarantee!

Can I test a server before I make my purchase decision?

Yes, we have test-drive servers available for all of our locations. You can test your ping immediately by visiting our Test Page. The test drive is designed to demonstrate the server performance you and your clan can expect. Feel free to Contact Us, tell us which game you wish to test and we'll point you to an IP you can test. We do not provide administrator access during the test drive.

What kind of access will I have to my server?

As a subscriber, you will be given full access to your server via FTP access to your game server files, we also supply XS Control Panel which allows remote access to the server via admin side and FTP.

Can you host my hardware for me?

YES, Xsessive provides Co-Location

You can earn a free server through our referral program or please send us an email to Sponsor Us.

What if I am not satisfied with my Xsessive server?

It's very important to us that you are happy with your server. First, you should try our test-drive server before you make your purchase to make sure you and your clan has an overall good gaming experience.

I just purchased a server, when will it be ready?

Once you have placed your order for your game server and have made payment which has cleared and where the billing information has been validated, then your server will be put in the set up queue. Once in the set up queue, unless your server is on a wait list, it will be setup within 48 hours, though most orders are processed within a few minutes, and a detailed e-mail will be sent to you with full access information to your server. If you're on a wait list then your estimate was given at the time you ordered.

How do I add maps to my server?

You can FTP your maps up to your game server via our control panel.

What if I don't know how to use FTP?

No problem, we wrote an FTP tutorial for you and you can always contact us via our support methods to get some 1 on 1 information

Do I get player stats at no additional charge?

In most cases, yes. Because we compile stats on a separate stats machine, we have enough computing power to update your stats once per hour at no additional charge. Stats are not available for all games and locations though.

What kind of support do I get?

You have a small team of experienced game server administrators available to answer any questions or issues you may have via e-mail. The team currently has 5 members ready to assist you. Official response times are within a few hours but we strive to respond within the hour when possible.

What are your support hours?

We don't have a set hourly schedule for support, but we do have a policy of responding to support within a few hours. Often times, responses are within the hour. We do treat service outages under our responsibility as high priority and we have a service level agreement that spells out our obligation to you. In addition, for some games, technicians are sometimes available via MSN.

How many players are allowed on my server each month?

There is no limit to the number of players allowed on your server as long as you abide by our Terms and Conditions.

Affiliate / Referral Program Questions

Is there any way that I can lose money in doing this?

No, it's free to join and the program can only help you. Even if you get no referrals at all, then you have lost nothing. If you do get a few referrals then you will have either earned credit towards your own server or commissions.

How does the referral I send you say who referred them?

It's tracked automatically once they click through your affiliate link through cookies. If cookies are turned off in their browser then they'll need to type in your affiliate ID into the "Who referred you?" box on the sign up form.

How do I track my progress?

You'll be given access to a reports page which updates automatically each day. You can also sign up to receive the update via e-mail.

I added your banner to my page, now how do I get my server?

You must first get enough referrals to order servers from us, then we'll contact you as you accumulate enough commissions to get a free server.

How can I see how many referrals I have?

Log into your affiliate account. It will show all that information there under your reports page. Keep in mind though, if you don't have a lot of web site traffic or if you aren't out posting to forums and trying to actively get referrals, then your referrals will likely be far and few between. It's possible to do, but it takes some creativity and effort to make it work.
